Mandy Moore Diet and Exercise

It seemed that Mandy Moore was fated to be a star. Starting out in the biz at the tender age of 15, she took fame as a fish takes water, easily gaining public attention with radio friendly hits such as Candy, Crush and I wanna Be With You before taking the film word by storm with movies such as A Walk to Remember and Chasing Liberty. The 5 feet 10 inch beauty has had her share of weight issues in the past, but now 26 years old, she easily has one of Tinseltown's most fit physique.
"I'm over that phase where I was so obsessed with what other people thought about me. I even came to the point where I was so affected, I was always thinking about dieting and how much I was exercising." She admits. "Now I'm just embracing my natural figure. I'm curvier than other stars, but I'm very happy with my body."
Mandy Moore’s diet follows the Five Factor eating plan created by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, which involves 3 meals and 2 snacks every day that contain low-fat protein, fiber, healthy carbohydrates and a sugar-free drink.
Mandy follows her eating plan with portion control. She tries to eat everything in moderate amounts and makes sure she enjoys "cheat days" without feeling guilty.
“If I really want something, I don’t feel like it’s worth it to deprive myself,” says Mandy, whose primary food weaknesses include french fries, cookies, and anything that has peanut butter. “I’ve never said, ‘I want to look like this’ or ‘I want to look like that’ or ‘I’m not good enough.’ To me it’s about feeling good, feeling healthy.”
Mandy Moore’s exercise routine involves combining strength training and cardio workouts for 25 minutes daily at least 5 times a week. The routine would start with a 5 minute cardio warm up, followed by another 5 minutes of upper body strength training, 5 minutes of lower bodyworkout, 5 minutes of core work, and lastly, 5 more minutes of cardio exercises.
"I love my routine, it's just right. At the end of the day I don't even feel depleted." Mandy says.
