Concentration Curls is one of the most fundamental and common among the biceps exercises.Part of almost all biceps and bodybuilding workouts,it is known as a strength and size training part of bodybuilding.This exercise is necessaryto build big biceps and muscles of the arms.Anyone who wants to gain muscles or strength will swere by this exercise.Though it seems east to perform,no one seems to be doing it correctly.

CORRECT FORM:
     
  • Sit on a bench with your legs almost perpendicular to each other.Plant the elbow on the inside of your thigh and grab a dumbbell.This is the starting position.
  • Exhale as you bring the dumbbell up towards your shoulder.Do Not move your elbow.
  • Squeeze your biceps at the top,then inhale as you return slowly to the starting position.
  • Perform 4-6 reps to build strength and 8-12 to build muscles.
  • Once finished with one arm,start with the other arm.
  • Do not swing during the exercise,as it will reduce the pressure on your biceps.
  • No need to lift heavy weights.Lift lighter weights,laying more stress on form rather than weight.
