Hanging Leg Raises are the most difficult among the leg raises exercises.They require a Smith Machine or a rod which is fixed and at some height.This exercise requires one to keep stationary while doing the exercise,which is why it is difficult.

CORRECT FORM:

  • Grab hold of a bar which is at some height,and just hang from it,till your momentum disappears and your whole body is in a straight line.
  • Next,tighten the muscles of your arms,your lats and squeeze the abs to bring your legs up,parallel to the ground.
  • Make sure your legs are joined together,and have a slight bent to protect your back.
  • Go down and repeat the same again,for around 5-8 times,8 times up,8 times down.Do about 3 sets.
  • Make sure you do not use momentum in this exercise,as it will not benefit your abs.
