We’re back with more celebrity workout and diet tips from Victoria’s Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, and Doutzen Kroes.
Alessandra Ambrosio returned to her model form in no time. “We worked out every day. We didn’t have a day off because time was so short,” says Leandro Carvalho. “She was limited in the beginning,” Carvalho said of the Victoria’s Secret model. “She could not do crunches, sit-ups, lunges.”
“But Ambrosio did what she could - climbing, walking and using ankle weights in the early stages. She later segued to cardio and Carvalho’s own special Brazilian Buttlift workout - a combination of ballet, squats, lunges and capoeira - for two hours a day,” reports the NY Daily News.
“She gained quite a lot of weight” during her pregnancy, Carvalho said. “She was indulging herself in delicious Brazilian food [and] she had to pay the price.” Ambrosio admits she enjoyed “a lot of ice cream,” but says “there’s no magic” to bouncing back - just hard work.
“I couldn’t have the crazy diets, the liquid ones or the 1,000 calories a day because I was breastfeeding. I think breastfeeding actually helps you to lose some weight,” reports EOnline.
“I’ve been trying pilates now, and I think it’s amazing,” Ambrosio also says.
Her diet…
“I like to wake up and have eggs benedict with a cappacino and orange juice. And then for lunch, I’ll have rice, beans and chicken or meat. And salad because I love salad. At nighttime I would have like Japanese food, like sushi, or some Japanese barbeque. And I love chips. Salt and vinegar – ah! I’ll go into the airport and buy like three bags of them. And I can’t help myself!” Alessandra Ambrosio dished to Hollywood Life.
Her weakness…
“Chocolate fondue is my favorite thing in the world,” Alessandra confessed.
Heidi Klum is another Victoria’s Secret model who got back into shape post-baby very quickly. She appeared in a runway show just 2 months after giving birth to her son. “It was amazing,” Klum’s trainer David Kirsch said in awe of what she had accomplished. “She had worked so hard and she looked gorgeous.”
“Kirsch put Klum through the paces with cardio workouts, circuit training and a strict diet, and earned quite a reputation as a post-baby body trainer,” according to the NY Daily News.

Adriana Lima told EOnline that a month before the show that she works out at least two hours a day.
Her diet…
“I have a balanced diet…lots of protein, no carbs, no sugar,” says the super fit Adriana Lima.
Her weakness…
“Dessert…forget about champagne. The first thing I will have is chocolate cake!” the Victoria’s Secret model admitted.
According to Daily Spark Doutzen Kroes “spends many extra minutes a day jumping rope,” in addition to her regular workout routine.
